Reason for developing learning experience.
This could be in response to an observation,
discussion with the site supervisor, Ontario
Curriculum Objective,etc.
Purpose:
The purpose of this activity is that children will get to enhance their fine motor skills
by using their fingers to grab and rip the paper.

Implementation:
-The children will be called to the table where this activity will take place
-A table cloth will be placed on the table
-Construction paper pages will be taped in front of each child
-The colourful tissue papers and glue with popsicle sticks will be placed in front of the
children
-Each child can then begin tearing up the paper, crumpling it up and gluing it on the
construction paper
-After the children are done, there work will be put to dry
-The childrens hands will be washed
-The glue will be covered will tinfoil and put away
2 Teaching Learning Strategies:
Invitations- the teacher will motivate the children to come and try the activity by
saying things like Come and see what we are doing or here is a place for you
Behaviour Reflections- this is when the teacher gives information talk and
descriptive feedback to the children on what they are doing.
