Causes of World War 2

1. The rearming of the German military was a violation of the treaty of Versailles
.It was during the interwar period (1918-1939) it apparently happened not to long after the
signing of the treaty but was very minimal.
.It was just like it sounds it was the rearming of German military the British, French and
others mainly ignored this
. It mainly affected Germany
. if they wanted to be a great nation once again they were going to need a military because if
they didn't they would have been easily dealt with
. this specific act i must say help the German people out of a very rough patch by making
jobs for them by joining or building weapons for the military
2. Taking back the Rhineland 7 March 1936 was a violation of the treaty: they took over
the rhineland and remilitized ( not sure if that is the same thing)

.the British were not as concerned thinking it as not that concerning while France could have
they really did not want to start a war with Germany
.they expanded their territory and gained land with a lot of resources
. they got back what used to be theirs so probably felt pretty good
3. Anschluss with Austria 12 March 1938 was in violation of treaty: the Germans took
over Austria
. both Austria and Germany
.it was rich in Resources and labor
.the reaction was minimal British and most other European countries said that they
disapprove of Germanys actions but they still did not do anything because they wanted to
avoid conflict

4. The Munich agreement was in violation: it was a settlement permitting Nazi
Germanys annexation of parts of Czechoslovakia along the country's borders mainly
inhabited by german speaking( 29 September 19 1938 and was signed in the
morning of 30
.it involved the U.K, France and Germany, though it did involve Czechoslovakia
they were not invited to the meeting
.The British and French thought that had Brokered peace with Nazi Germany,
hoping that the Sudetenland would give them enough breathing room, but it didnt
.
5. The non-aggression pact with russia is in violation
.it was a neutrality pact between Nazi Germany and Soviet Union it was signed August 23
1939 and only lasted till Operation Barbarossa which was Nazi Germany invading the Soviet
Union in June 22 1941
.both Britain and France had talks with the Soviets on what to do if Nazi Germany started
fighting them or other countries this was ended when Hitler offered his pact which would give
them more land taking over entire or parts of countries near their borders like Poland
