JOB DESCRIPTION INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER

Mission/core purpose of the job (short description)

 Develop, implement and maintain the MTN Cameroon Information Security program
(policies, processes, procedures and tools) and ensure effective and efficient risk
management of information related processes, technologies, systems and networks.

Key tasks:

 Develop and implement Information Security Policies

 Define Information Systems Security Standard Baseline
 Monitor and Address Information Systems Security threats
 Ensure Compliance of Information Systems against defined Security Baseline
 Develop and Implement Information Systems Security Incident & Problem
Management
 Develop and Implement Information Systems Security Awareness Campaign
 Lead the resolution of Information Systems Security incidents
 Lead and coordinate Information Systems Internal & External Audit
 Ensure resolution of findings raised in Internal & External Audit reports
 Perform Information Systems Risk Assessment
 Report on Information Systems Security & Risk Assessment Status
 Lead and coordinate Information Systems Security Program Execution with all
relevant business units (IS, Network, Business Risk, etc.)
 Lead and ensure the effective execution of Disaster Recovery Plan as well as
interactions with the Business Continuity Planning
 Plan, organize and supervise work of direct reports
 Train and coach direct reports

Education:

 University degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field

Experience:

 At least 5 years experience on a relevant Information Technology position in a large

networked environment with responsibilities in performing duties equivalent to those
described

Knowledge:

 Management of Physical and Logical Security of Information Systems

 Operating systems, Databases & Applications Systems Hardening
 Information Systems Security Standard (Example: ISO 27001)
  Information Systems Vulnerability Assessment & Risk Management
 Information Systems Audit
 Data Network Vulnerability Assessment & Risk Management
 Knowledge of Data Center operations
 Knowledge of Information Systems Architecture
 Knowledge of Mobile Technologies
 Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
 Knowledge of Cloud Computing
