•ABTS-TEAC (Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity) Captura de
Radicales sintéticos
•Solución persulfato potásico 2,45mM. Para 100 ml Disolver 0,0662 g del reactivo en
100 ml de agua destilada.
•Solucion de trabajo ABTS.+. se diluye con etanol hasta obtener una absorbancia de
0,7±0.02 a 730 nm. Esto se consigue mezclando 1,3 ml de la solución del radical con
aproximadamente 50 ml de etanol.

• Determina la capacidad de la muestra para reducir un complejo de férrico
con la molécula tripiridil s-triazina (TPTZ) a su forma ferrosa (pH bajo).

•Ácido clorhídrico (HCl) 40mM. Diluir 535 µl de HCl (37%) en 100 ml de agua
destilada.
•Solución TPTZ 10 mM. Pesar 0,0312 g del reactivo TPTZ y disolverlos en un matraz
de 10 ml con HCl 40 mM.
•Tampón acetato 0,3 mM pH 3,6. Para 250 ml, disolver 0,0061 g de acetato sódico
(NaAc) en 200 ml de agua destilada. Ajustar el pH a 3,6 utilizando HCl 40mM, y
completar hasta los 250 con agua destilada.
En oscuridad
El método se fundamenta en el carácter reductor de
los polifenoles. El conjunto de los compuestos
polifenolicos se oxidan por el reactivo de Folin-Ciocalteu
(mezcla de ácido fosfotúngstico y fosfomolíbdico),
dando una coloración azul directamente proporcional al
contenido de polifenoles, la cual es medible a 725 nm.
