ABSTRAKSI

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh sikap


pemimpin dalam memberikan power kepada bawahannya (empowering leadership)
akan berdampak pada kreativitas karyawan dalam menghasilkan ide-ide yang bersifat
baru atau asli yang berguna bagi organisasi (employee creativity). Selain itu, pada
penelitian ini juga akan menganalisis bagaimana keyakinan individu dalam
menghasilkan sesuatu yang kreatif (creative self-efficacy), serta kepercayaan
karyawan kepada pemimpin (trust) menjadi variabel mediasi dan moderasi pada
pengaruh empowering leadership terhadap employee creativity.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei.
Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dari 73 Karyawan dimana data tersebut
didapatkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada karyawan
Funding Officer seluruh Cabang Bank Rakyat Indonesia Surabaya. Alat bantu
statistik pada penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 2.0).
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukan bahwa creative self-efficacy memediasi
hubungan empowering leadership terhadap employee creativity secara penuh dan
trust memoderasi hubungan empowering leadership terhadap employee creativity.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study to analyze how to influence the attitude of the
leaders in providing power to his subordinates (empowering leadership) will have an
impact on employee creativity in generating ideas that are new or original that is
useful to the organization (employee creativity). In addition, this study will also
analyze how an individual's belief in producing something creative (creative self-
efficacy), as well as employee confidence to the leader (trust) into a variable
mediating and moderating the effect of empowering leadership on employee
creativity.
This study uses a quantitative approach with survey method. This study uses
primary data from 73 employees where the data is obtained using a questionnaire
distributed to employees throughout the Funding Officer Branch of Bank Rakyat
Indonesia, Surabaya. Statistical tools in this study using Partial Least Square
(SmartPLS 2.0). Based on the results of the study, showed that creative self-efficacy
mediates the relationship empowering leadership on employee creativity and trust
fully moderate the relationship empowering leadership on employee creativity.
