Introduction Mounting details

AEGI brackets are a sensible and easy way of
securing piping and hoses in all type of industries
and on all types of terrestrial or naval installations.
AEGI brackets characteristics are:
• pleasent, practical and economical design
• using weldable plates or conduits, it’s easy to
anchor the brackets to machinery and steelwork.
• fast, safe, economic installation and service in
piping systems
AEGI standard brackets are manufactured in:
• Polypropylene - green color - for standard, heavy- spacing). Press on the lower clamp, lay the tube put
duty and double series
• Polyamide - black color - (Nylon 6-6 loaded with
20% of glass fibre self-extinguishing VO) for
standard, heavy duty and double series
• Aluminum for heavy-duty series
The other metallic components of the clamps are
manufactured in:
• Lower and upper plate: Steel ASTM -1010
• Bolt: Steel Grade 5
• Rail: Steel ASTM - A336 19ga.
• Nuts: ASTM - A570
NOTE: STANDARD Rail are painted green.
Weld plate mounting
Adjust weld plates and position with locating mag-
nets or clips. Weld the plate on. Press the lower
clamps, lay the tube, put on second halves of the
clamp and tighten screws. Don’t weld with plastic-
clamps on them! Long weld plates can be screwed
directly to the surface. Pay attention to the bracings
(under no circumstances may the two halves of the
clamps be in contact with each other).
Rail mounting
Mounting rails are supplies in 3” or 6” pieces. Weld
or screw on the mounting rail with the nut. Insert the
nut into the rail and turn as far as the stop (at correct
on the second clamp half, tighten up. Pay attention
to the bracings (under no circumstances may the
two clamp halves be in contact with each other).
Stacking
Consists of 2 clamp halves, stacking bolt(s) and a
bolt locking plate. To construct a stack, fasten a weld
plate or rail nut and locate 2 clamp halves and tube,
securing with stacking bolt(s). Once tight, these bolts
must be held with a locking plate. The next clamp
can then be assembled and so on, until the stack is
complete, the last clamp being secured with conven-
tional bolt(s) and top plate. For each stack, a mount-
ing shape of your choice should be ordered, compo-
nents from which start and finish the stack. We
reserve the right to make modifications in the
interest of technical progress.

Net 30 day terms apply after credit has been established F.O.B. Rossford, Ohio U.S.A.

IC Fluid Power, Inc. warrants the products listed in this catalog for a period of six (6) months after shipment. Products shall be
free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of six (6) months after shipment. If the product purchased is
defective in any way during the six (6) month period, please contact IC Fluid Power, Inc. for an RGA number to return the
product for a full evaluation. If the product is defective, IC Fluid Power, Inc. will replace the product at no charge to the
customer. This comprises the entire warranty and IC Fluid Power, Inc. makes no other claim whatsoever. See IC Fluid Power,
Inc. seperate written warranty.

IC Fluid Power, Inc. will not accept back any product without first issuing an RGA number. The RGA number must appear on all
paperwork. If product is being sent back for any other reason than product defect, a 20% restocking charge will be deducted
from the credit. Product being sent back for credit must be in re-saleable condition and the freight must be prepaid. A 50%
restocking charge applies to product originally sent via air freight or expedited service. Credit balances can be offset by
material purchases only. Cash payments are not allowed.

IC Fluid Power, Inc. carries product liability insurance and will provide a copy at your request.

Errors in shipping or billing must be reported within 10 days of receipt of order.

IC Fluid Power, Inc. clamps are manufactured to conform with “DIN” specifications.
