First Day Advantage:

Building on the success of the U of L's Books-on-Beds and Textbook Reservation programs, the "First Day
Advantage" project is designed to streamline the process of accessing digital resources. Our course will be
participating in this University of Lethbridge pilot project that is designed to improve the student experience
and to study the effects of learning using digital resources, such as e-texts and adaptive learning systems.

The advantages of this program are:

 You will have access to all your course materials on the first day of class.
 Saves money - you receive up your digital resources for this course at a discounted rate.
 Your e-text will not expire at the end of the term.

How will the “First Day Advantage” work for our class?
 The First Day Advantage program grants you a FREE TRIAL PERIOD until Sept. 21, 2016. If you
love it, keep using it! For your convenience, we will simply bill your UofL Student Account for the price
of this item.
 If you have initiated the free trial period by claiming your course materials, and would like to cancel
access, no problem! Simply select “Your Account/Orders” and follow the steps to return this item. Your
access will be cancelled and your student account will not be charged. Please return your item on, or
before Sept. 21, 2016, the end of the free trial period.
 Want a printed text to accompany your digital material? Print upgrades are available at your UofL
Bookstore for a discounted rate if you have purchased First Day Advantage digital material. Please

the student to take upper level courses in both theoretical and applied economics. The course will begin with a
review of the economic concepts necessary for an understanding of all subsequent material, and follow with the
major themes in macroeconomics: national accounting, business cycles, unemployment and inflation, aggregate

student of the consequences of cheating as well as the procedures to follow if found cheating. Each student is advised to read
this section prior to the first exam.
