[People hear the word princess and all they think about is gowns and tiaras, a prince
swooping in to save the day, a prissy evil step-mother for a queen, a talking mirror.
My dear, you’ll have gowns and tiaras, you’ll have your prince—not that you’ll need
saving—you’ll have me for a queen. Unfortunately, we don’t have talking mirrors in
Genovia. We do have the most delicious pears though you really must try
one…anyway, the point is, most people have no idea what being a princess is about.
All they see is the fame and the luxury…the glamour. But…
[Now, being a princess is a full time job, but you’ll still want to be involved in
organizations and charities—it’s all about giving back, about helping your people]
A princess is patient
She’s caring gracious
She loves her people just as they love her
[key change]
She takes nothing for granted
She holds her people enchanted
By the work she does on their behalf
