Concept



The world is a spectacular artist. She created numerous gorgeous
artworks which consist of lands, ocean, and sky. Only we observe
with our heart that we can notice how glamorous the world is.
1. Space and Time ’s Elements:



Monte Solaro, Anacapri, Italy, 2015 summer, yachts, green plants, rocks, and waves.

2. Visual Elements:

- Light & Shadow: bright sunlight, and the reflection of water flower and waves.



- Color: Ocean blue, aqua blue, dark mineral blue grass green, light grey, and white.



- Shape: Many yachts were shuttling on the ocean. They seemed like many little dots or stars in the sea and 

composed unique pattern. It symbols the activity of human and ocean. The curve of the coast looks 

like the land embraces the ocean.

4. The connection of the photo with photographer:

I embarked a journey in Europe to broaden my horizons. I captured some fantastic moments of the world.
The world uses the power of nature as materials to create unique veins, patterns, and abstract lines every day. I
traveled to Anacapri, Italy. The sunlight was very bright and energetic. When I looked down from the top of the
Monte Solaro to the ocean, I saw I felt the vitality of the connection between ocean, nature, and human.

Mountain in Switzerland, 2015 summer, erosion mark, and meander.

2. Visual Elements:



- Light & Shadow: soft light, sunlight revealed the vein of the hill to make the layers more obvious.



- Color: dark brown, light brown, light grey, mineral yellow, and dark yellow.



- Shape: The erosion mark has a meander shape seemed like a ground river, it symbols the time is like a river
and every passing must leave traces.

4. The connection of the photo with photographer:

I visited Mount Titlis, Switzerland. Although it was summer then, it was still freezing on the mountain.
When commuting by cable to the top of the mountain, I noticed the erosion mark on the mountain hill and felt
those marks were the ground's traces of years. I couldn’t help but admire the pattern.

Dawn, cloud, atmosphere, sky, before sunrise, and ground.

2. Visual Elements:



Light & Shadow: dawn of light, gradient light.



Color: sapphire blue, cerulean blue, champagne yellow, sun orange, tangerine, and black.



Shape: line, gradient, cloud shape. The line symbols the start of a day or the beginning of the universe.

4. The connection of the photo with photographer:

I was on the plane for going home, the dawn of the light before sunrise was breathtakingly beautiful. The
sunlight embraced our planet Earth. I felt the magnificent power and warmth of the universe for creating this
gradient color on the sky. Although it was the end of my journey, I had gained new viewpoint to this amazing
world.
