Title: BANYUHAY – “Bagong Anyo Ng Buhay”

Rationale:
“Health is wealth” – is what we hear every day from our parents, to commercials and health
advocates. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is essential to every individual – young and adults.
Healthiness is the condition of having a sound, mind, body and spirit.
BANYUHAY from the Philippine Tagalog literature “Bagong Anyo ng Buhay”, means an improved
way of living which aims to gather and teach young students of STI College Munoz-EDSA the value
of having a lifestyle that will enable them to excel in their subjects. This program is open to all
students. Through the prepared fun and interactive activities, this program will put emphasis on
the high importance of body, mind, and spiritual coordination. This training program will help
participants change their way of thinking on how they should live their lives to make things better
than before.
As per Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, one of the things that a young individual must attain for
them to achieve the highest level of their needs is to consistently maintain an excellent
physiological condition – thru sufficient sleep, food, shelter, and daily exercise.

Objectives:
The training program aims to:
 To put emphasis on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
 To provide extensive information about wellness and proper hygiene.
 To develop and promote mental, physical, and emotional wellness.
 To develop a sense of self-responsibility and ownership.
 To build self confidence among the young participants.

Target Participants:
We aim to gather 30 active participants, either Senior high school or all-level college students
who are consistently exposed to many vices like smoking, drinking, partying, addiction to
computer games and social media applications, etc.
Target Venue:
Our proposed venue is at STI College Munoz-Edsa covered court to accommodate the
participants who will join the training. It is recommended not to put any chairs in the area to
maximize the available space.

Target Date & Time:

This training is preferably to be conducted on February, during the sports week, between 8:00
