Palamuru University, located in Mahabubnagar town,
was established in 2008 to cater the growing
requirements of Higher Education of the region, in
general, and of Mahabubnagar, in particular. Today, the
sprawling campus, housed at a natural bio-diverse
habitat, has metamorphosed into a lush-green location
with many new buildings and 4 student hostels. Many
integrated campus developments and creation of
academic facilities, student amenities such as CELT,
state-of-the-art auditoria, research labs, sports complex,
and seminar halls, among others, have added to the
existing architectural marvel of the university.
About Centre for English
Language Training (CELT)
CELT@Palamuru University was established in the
year 2017, to offer training in English Language, Soft
Skills and Personality Development. The courses here
aim at enhancing the overall efficiency of learners,
while providing a student-friendly and interactive
atmosphere to acquire clear, confident communication,
along with a dynamic personality.

English. English has become a Global Language as it
has become the preferred choice across all professions
and businesses across the globe. Increasingly a sound
knowledge of English has become a norm in education
and business. A good understanding, right usage and
fluency in the language have become the main weapon
for people looking for rapid progress in their career and
development of personality. In any country, if a mere
knowledge of English is regarded as an index of
‘educated class’, then certainly a fair degree of
proficiency in speaking the language is considered as
mark of good education. A good deal of ‘reputation’ is
attached to such proficiency.
