1. read simple non fiction text with guidance.

Success Criteria Pupils are able to:


1. (MS) answer the questions given correctly (8 out of 8) with or without
teacher’s guidance.
2. (L) answer the questions given correctly (6 out of 8) with teacher’s
guidance.

Activities 1. Teacher starts the class with ‘Spelling Marathon’.


2. Teacher asks the pupils to listen to the texts. (Textbook 57)
3. Teacher asks the pupils to repeat the text after the teacher
4. Teacher asks the pupils to read the text together in class and
understand them
5. Teacher asks the pupils to talk about the text.
6. Teacher asks Wh-Questions based on the texts to check their
understanding
7. Individual work
