Generasi Ketiga: What 3G ?

l Apakah 3G?
ITU mendefinisikan 3G (Third Generation) sebagai
teknologi yang dapat memberikan unjuk kerja
sebagai berikut :
• 144 kbps pada kecepatan user 100 km/jam
• 384 kbps pada kecepatan berjalan kaki
• 2 Mbps untuk user diam (stasioner)

Berdasarkan persyaratan di atas, terhitung 5 teknologi

dipilih untuk 3G

l entirely packet-switched networks

macro-cells)
