INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR 2018

COOPERATIVE REPUBLIC OF GUYANA

MINISTRY OF PUBLIC SECURITY

The Ministry of Public Security invites Applications from Contractors who wish to be shortlisted
for the provision of Works and Services with the Ministry for the year 2018, in respect to the
following four (4) categories:-

 Rehabilitation/Maintenance of Buildings and Other Infrastructure

 Provision of Electrical/Air Conditioner Repairs Services
 Repairs to Vehicles and Equipment
 Weeding and Cleaning

Interested Applicants may obtain a complete set of Pre-Qualification Documents from the
Finance Department, Ministry of Public Security, Lot 6 Brickdam Stabroek, Georgetown,
between 08:00 hours and 15:30 hours, Monday to Friday at no cost.

Only Pre-Qualification Documents from the Ministry will be accepted. Each Pre-Qualification
Application must be accompanied by valid Certificates of Compliance from the Manager of the
National Insurance Scheme (NIS) and the Commissioner General of the Guyana Revenue
Authority (GRA).

Pre-Qualification applications must be placed in separate envelopes for each category and
marked on the outside on the top left hand, Ministry of Public Security, Pre-Qualification
Application for 2018 and the Name of the Category, and be deposited in the Tender Box of the
National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), Ministry of Finance, Main
and Urquhart Streets, Georgetown. The deadline for the submission of Pre-Qualification
Applications is Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 09:00 hours at the address below:-
