Layout of Facilities

A. Site Development Plan

The proposed site development plan is located in Barangay Maraouy, Lipa City with

a total of two proposed structures. The proposed structures and its layout are included

in the site development plan. For site development plan see Figure___.

B. City Hall Building

The proposed new city hall building will be placed in front of the old city hall

building. The city hall is a 4-storey building with a floor area of

1. Offices. 22 offices isprovided in the proposed building that caters executive

and legislative branches. The number of offices were determined from the

number of local government offices inside and outside the city hall compound

which includes the mandatory and optional. Heavy, public-oriented, and

transactional areas are held at the ground floor level.

2. Assembly Areas. Flagpole is situated in the front of city hall to provide

morning assemblies of local staffs. Different events are held in this area to

give promotional incentives for the locality

3. Social/Recreational Room. Recreation are valuable for this allow local

staffs to be involved in team activities and give people of all ages an outlet

for their energy.

4. Toilets. Toilets are allocated in each floors for sanitation and comfort of the

users of the building. Separate toilets will be provided for PWD, men and

women.
 5. Ramps and stairways. Ramps are installed in an area that are visible to the

people to enhance the mobility of the disabled persons. Stairways are also

positioned on an area that are easy to access, in case of emergencies.

6. Maintenance and File Storage Room. Every floor of the city hall building

has a storage room for all the hard copy files, and maintenance room for

maintaining the building’s sanitation and cleanliness.

7. Elevator. Elevator is provided in the city hall for easy transport between the

floor levels.

C. 3-storey Parking facility

The Parking facility will be located at the back of the old city hall. The

canteen, federation of senior citizen building and O.B. Montessori will be demolished to

give way for the construction of the 3-storey parking facility. The parking facility will

occupy a total area of 2,379 sq. m.

1. Parking Space

1.1 Carpark. To accommodate the vehicles of the employees and people with

personal businesses in the city hall, 142 parking spaces will be provided for

cars.

1.2 Motorcycle Bays. Parking space for motorcycles will be provided for the

people and employees. The motorcycle bays will be only located at the ground

floor of the parking facility building and will occupy 64 individual motorcycles.

1.3 Truck Bays. Small truck space are allocated to allow departments transport

their materials for their operations

2. Maintenance Room. This room is provided for maintenance staff for providing

electrical, mechanical, architectural services and waste removal.

3. Toilets. Toilets are provided in every floor of the parking facilities. The sanitation

fixture is provided for proper disposal and comfort for men, women, and PWD’s.
