Major development projects undertaken by the Lautoka City Council will

further uplift the image of the Sugar City this year.
LCC chief executive officer Jone Nakauvadra revealed that projects such as
the much awaited Olympic size swimming pool and the new indoor sporting
facility are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Mr Nakauvadra informed that the civil works for the swimming pool at
Lautoka’s Botanical Garden has finished and the actual construction process
will start soon.
He revealed that government has already given the council $1.75million for
the project and more funding is expected from them this year.

In recent years, Ba, Lautoka and Nadi have been winning the league title.

Meanwhile, Patel confirmed that Fiji FA from its own coffers gives an additional $25,000 to

He said this adds to the $75,000 that is handed out by Vodafone as grant for O-League
