Rhythms as whole: Everything for the Basses is unison with the majority of the group. The
harmonies are pretty much 3rds, 6ths, and octaves. A lot of the rhythm is uniform and is a
standard rhythm.
Harmonies: The baritones and basses can help each other a lot because they are always in
comfortable harmonies together. The basses are one octave lower than tenor 1s at the beginning
and that can help.
Diction, Vibrato, Dynamics, Breaths, etc.: Since this is a very choral and golden age show so I
would expect open vowels and steady vibrato. Everything should start small and grow gradually.
As an ensemble we must sound like a chorus, which entails unison breath and dynamics.
