Nobody would argue that sneakers are the
most popular footwear nowadays. But only a
few of us know the history of sneakers
evolution. A few months ago, when I’d just
started to collect information about it, I was
really surprised about the date, when the first
pair of sneaker was released. It was in 1917.
Could you believe that? Original design for
me looked a little bit boring for animation, so
I’ve decided to choose a fun colorful design.

The main idea for each animation was to
create one-second animations and to prove
that one second is enough to tell a story,
present a character or create a tragedy with a
help of text, illustrations, motion and sound.
One second is much more than you’d
thought. This animation is a collection of
smaller animations which was sandwiched
between a title card and end slate. I was
inspired by Animade's "Full Secs" project.

Art becomes life, and life becomes art. 1976
journeys through the ghettos and farmlands
and lifestyles of Cuba as scenes build and
unfold blurring the distinction between the
ideology of propaganda and the everyday
reality of struggling to survive. The idea for
this music video was to capture the flair of
the track's distinct sound. Using original
photography shot in Cuba, the flowing
camera movement was inspired by the
