“The purpose of his memo isto provide an update associated with the continued work to explore potential City-
‘owned property options for « Major League Soccer Stadium, potential City-owned property options for Major
League Soocerpractce/ancillary fel or amenities and asocited community/stskeholder engagement. As you
will reall, «preliminary report was provided to the Mayor and City Couneil on December 14,2017. This report,
suggested atta of 8 properties stable for either a stadium complex ora pactce'neillry field complex. ‘The
eport also provided a summary of preliminary considerations for each property.
‘With the release of the report, iis expected that representatives from Precourt Sports Ventures wil provide
fedack regarding the properties. Once we receive the Precourt Sports Ventures propery fenbac, City staff
will proceed witha more indepth exploration of consensus properties, To date, Precourt Spots Ventures has yet
provided definitive feedback regarding the viability of any proposed properties named in the December 14,2017
report
City staff want to maintain transparency and efficiency inits property exploration efforts. Without definitive
consensus property idntfistion, City staff doesnot belive i is pradent to launch an in-depth exploration or
conprehensvecommuntystakcholér engagement. In order to adhere o best practices associated with
‘communityistakeholder engagement, City staff require:
‘+ Confirmation of consensus properies from Precour Sports Ventures
‘+ Aminimum of 2 months for engagement activities and analysis
City stat wll not produce additional community/stakeholder information or property analysis by the established
February 15,2018 deadline. Upon receipt ofthe property feedback from Precourt Sports Ventures, City staf
will:
‘+ Establish a project completion timeline for community/stakeholder engagement and addtional property
analysis
‘+ Communicate tothe Mayor and City Council the timeline for completing comprehensive
‘communitystakeholder engagement and property analysis
‘+ Produce a inal analysis report associted with consensus property
