SAR/GMTI Reconnaissance System EL/M-2060T

for Transport Aircraft

General
The EL/M-2060T is a field-proven high performance, long range SAR/GMTI (Synthetic Aperture Radar with Ground
Moving Target Indication) airborne reconnaissance system, carried by transport aircraft or executive jets.
The system consists of an Airborne Radar sensor with an on-line signal processor, and Airborne Exploitation Station
(AES), a Ground Exploitation Station (GES) and a bi-directional data link.
The EL/M-2060T produces radar images, which approach photographic quality, and operates as a true all-weather,
day and night sensor capable of penetrating clouds, rain, smoke, smog and fog.
Initial SAR imagery exploitation takes place on-board at the AES, while in-depth exploitation is carried out by the
Ground Exploitation Station (GES), which receives real-time data via the data link or uses previous recorded infor-
mation for additional interpretation.
