“Republican”

Centuries ago, the Republican party was formed to oppose slavery. The first

major name in the Republican party was one by the name of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th

President of the United States. Republican in the form of an adjective is belonging to,

or a characteristic of a republic. In the Noun form, a person advocating or supporting

republican government. These words have a deeper meaning, one that can divide a

family or spark arguments between friends.

The righty or “Republican” as they are called is one of the many names for one

who follows or supports the Republican party. The righty is pro-life, power in the hands

of the states, no gun regulation, love the death penalty, against welfare, and mainly

consist of wealthier folks. “Republican” represents the color red in political terms, but

personally i think they represent green because they love money. The republican party

is also the GOP which stands for “grand ole party” coming from the amount of they have

been around since the issue of slavery being abolished in the mid 1800’s.

The views of the republican hurts families, relationships, and even friendships. In

America there are a handful more Democrats than republicans, mainly because

Republican views are mainly money based and which means it mainly consist of the

upper class Americans. A “republican” wants an abortion decision in the hands of both

the man and the woman, so they can get rid of abortion in general because more babies

means more money in the economy. A “republican” wants to get rid of gun regulations
because in reality it is our right to own and operate a gun under the 2nd amendment in

the U.S Constitution. Over the years, there has been many terrorist attacks on the

homeland at schools, churches, concerts, and even night clubs. This prompted

lawmakers to apply more restrictions to the process of buying a gun. A “republican”

supports going away with welfare support. As Americans we are to pay taxes and those

federal taxes go towards programs like welfare. The problem with welfare is that ones

who don't qualify or use the money for drugs are taking money that could be put to

better use but instead it is used to help an addiction. Republicans want to add more

qualifications so money isnt wasted.

Lastly, A republican represents integrity, intelligence, and determination to make

America great again. Their main purpose is to take over the government and apply

laws that favor republicans and theirs views on how America should work. A

“republican” represents the correct ways america should function.
