JESUS PROMISE THE HOLY SPIRIT

Long, long ago, God the Son came to earth. He became a man to be one of us. Jesus came to tell us

about his Father. He wanted to show how much God loves each of us. He also came to show us how to live as

children of God. Jesus showed his great love for us by dying on the cross and by rising from the dead. After a

while, it was time for Jesus to go back to his Father. His friends became sad. They thought he would never

come back. They were also afraid that when Jesus left, they would not know the right things to do because

Jesus would no longer be around to teach them. But Jesus said to them: Do not be sad. Someday, I will come

back and take you with me. Just do what I have taught you. Love one another, by this, everyone will know that

you are my friends. Do not worry. You will not be alone. I will ask the father to send you the Holy Spirit. The

Holy Spirit will teach you all good things. He will help you remember everything that I have taught you.

Remember this: I will always Be with You. Jesus kept His Promise. One day, His friends were in a room. The

Holy Spirit came and changed them. They were not sad or afraid anymore. The Spirit of Jesus gave them

strength, love, joy, and peace. The Spirit of Jesus helped them feel the Father’s Love. The Spirit of Jesus helped

them live as children of God. Today, Jesus continues to be with us. He is always with us through his Holy Spirit.
