It’s Regional Appreciation Dinner Time Once Again!
Tune us in each Each year TGRM hosts Regional Appreciation Dinners at four different locations in regions from
Sunday afternoon at which we receive support. This is our way of showing our appreciation to our donors and letting
1:30 PM on you see first hand what you have helped us achieve throughout the year. It is also a great way for
WPOS, 102.3 FM. you to introduce your friends to the Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission and its ministries. You will
receive a personal invitation to the dinner in your region. However, if you are unable to attend that
one, you may attend any of them by calling the business office and making a reservation.

One More Year Of God’s
Service To His People
This month the mission
celebrates fifty three years of
ministry. On April 15th, 1955
at the corner of Canton and
Beacon the Toledo Gospel
Rescue Mission (known
then as the Toledo Rescue
Mission) opened to the public
providing not only meals and
shelter, but the Gospel of
Jesus Christ as well.
As the years have gone by
the mission has changed
physically, but the message
still remains that Jesus saves.
In 1973 the building at 1917
Jefferson Av e. was
purchased and to this date
continues to be used to
minister the Good News.
From 1955 to 2008 it has
been the people of God, not
the government or big
business, that have kept the
mission alive. Through the
years God has laid the
mission on the hearts of many
of you to send in or bring by
just exactly what was needed
just at the right time. Thank
you for hearing His voice and
doing the things that He has
asked of you.
As long as Jesus tarries the
Toledo Gospel Rescue
Mission will be taking care of
the people He sends our
way. They are out there
struggling and without hope
looking for an answer. We
are here, thanks to your
support, with the answer and
that being Jesus.
