My dear teachers namely _________ my highschool batch 1992 the

sponsored batch 2007 with the co-sponsored batch 1997, fellow alumni,
my ever supportive mother, friends and visitors, Maayong Gabii sa
tanan!
I am greatly honored to speak before all of you on this special
occasion our MSU-BC Grand Alumni Homecoming with the theme
“Coming Home Where Stars Are Made” It’s quite true that all of us here
in this hall are STARS! A Star because our Alma Mater beloved MSU-
BC upbringing within the walls of this university, molded us into
individual who, by making a difference in the lives of people, that by
struggling to be better than how we were in our highschool years. We in
our own way beaming brightly as the STARS!
Mostly we measure success through financial stability, kaharuray sa
trabaho, nindot nga balay, adunay latest nga model sa sakyanan but God
sees success for those who are honest public servants who lead with
integrity and virtue, the single parents who gave up their own happiness
and needs for the sake of their children – and the businessman and
corporate warriors who have helped other people adds value to their
lives!
For those who feel they were weren’t stars/successful, don’t lose hope!
Think of our parents and teachers we had in those days! They thought us
to believe we are winners. They see to it we learn and make the
impossible in all others ways around! Why don’t we give our Teachers a
loudest applause?!
We have the pride and blood of the TRUE MSUANS “Lumalaban
kahit anong Laban” We were proud because we knew hardships was just
a step in making us self-sufficient. We were responsible, dependable and
independent adults and that make us a STAR!
There are so many obstacles that we need to go through to make a
STAR but we can succumb it all with PRAYER and FAITH In God!
For all the Stars who come home this evening, let me congratulates all
of you, all of us, for we are all stars because we did our best, no matter
what life has harded us, no matter what cards we were dealt with, we
SURVIVED and we are STARS in our own way. And even as we gather
here and speak of our current success, our journey in life has not ended
yet, we are still in the running, success in making. For now, we don’t
rest our laurels for our journey has not ended yet, we move on and
continue to shine brightly as a STAR!
For this, we thank the sponsoring Batch 2007 with Co-sponsored Batch
1997, for spearheading tonight’s school alumni homecoming, for their
time, effort and resources in providing all of us their opportunity to
gather and enjoy! I appreciate your spirit and commitment. Let’s give a
round of applause to them!
And finally, stars as we are, let’s continually shine and make the
brightest star in the darkness! Mabuhay ang MSU-BC!
Thank You and God bless us All!
