CSUMB Tour Notes

❏ There is a park area surrounding the front offices that is usually used for big public

events/ club events

❏ Dorms are former army barracks (no AC/heating),each with ensuite bathroom

❏ Different dorm building per student year

❏ Can check out all textbook at library for 2 hour sessions

❏ 2 Starbucks and 1 Peet's Coffee on campus

❏ Rock filtration systems outside that recycle rainwater

❏ Bus system goes to San Jose

❏ Cheapest csu parking permits for cars

❏ 1 mile walk from the beach

❏ Taking a language course is required, unless AP exam or SAT was passed

❏ “Otter Days” events for new student bonding
