Welcome message
Dear Colleagues,

The 15th Annual Scientific Respiratory Meeting – PIPKRA will be held again in Jakarta on
February 6 – 10, 2018. We are delighted to welcome friends and colleagues to our PIPKRA 2018.
PIPKRA is one of the largest respiratory annual meeting in Indonesia which provides the most
up-to-date topics in pulmonary and respiratory medicine.

Together with all our staff, we are working hard to bring you a programme that addresses
the needs of all respiratory professionals from scientists to clinicians and allied health
professionals.

With this year theme “Skill and Art in Clinical and Basic Science of Respiratory Medicine”
will cover key topics in respiratory medicine from across the spectrum of disease area including
asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, lung cancer, pneumonia, ILD, interventional pulmonology,
occupational lung disease among others. The meeting programme is set to deliver the best
advances in both science and education.

Therefore, we will have workshops to improve your clinical skills and learn about the latest
techniques which covering pleuroscopy, advanced bronchoscopy, ILO reading radiograph,
pulmonary emergency and lung function.

Postgraduate courses provide medical practitioners with the opportunity to align their
current procedures with the latest clinical best practice. These lecture–based sessions include
topics of current systemic treatment in thoracic oncology, interstitial lung disease and multi
drug resistance of TB.

We are also providing Research Symposia including oral and poster presentation to offer
participants both an opportunity to learn more about topic/diseases and the latest
development within specific fields of expertise.

At the end these sessions participants will have the most up-to-date, clear and practical take-
home knowledge relating diagnosis, treatment, and prevention in each disease.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 15th Annual Scientific Respiratory Meeting – PIPKRA.
