CONDITION OF REVERSE FOR SAFETY POWER WINDOW

Not Operating Range : Under 4mm from the top of window

During an AUTO UP is operated the window touch


an obstacle within Safety activation range

When Obstacle is detected during

DESCRIPTION
Back Warning System informs to driver the distance from vehicle to obstacle. The
information is divided into 3 steps according to the distance that is calculated by BWS ECM
through back warning sensor using supersonic wave to detect obstacle.

MISDETECTION OF BWS SENSOR 56

§ At approaching to curved obstacle. (Supersonic wave is reflected)

§ Narrow obstacle like rope, string.

§ The change of vehicle height is serious due to the heavy load.

§ When drive back at the declined load.

§ Foreign material is attached to Sensor.

§ The obstacle taking the supersonic wave like Cotton or Snow


(Ex : Fire plug covered with snow)
