Dance is a powerful impulse, but the art of dance is that impulse channeled
by skillful performers into something that becomes intensely expressive and that
may delight spectators who feel no wish to dance themselves.
Typically, dance costumes are designed to harmonize with the dance and not hinder
the movements of the dancer.
The body is the instrument of expression. Dance itself requires all elements:
body movement and motion in space for a certain time, modulating energy and
dynamics, and in relationship to someone. The student will explore and experiment with
movement as part of the process
Apply compositional tools and choreographic principles, where students create
and compose dances with specific form and structure. Where teachers merely analyze
and refine their work.
Dancing is one of the forms of arts. Philippines has a very rich cultural
dance. Dance, on the other hand, requires not just knowledge but a combination
of skills and attitude. To promote dance as an art, all people who are into
dancing, not just the physical education practitioners, must learn the proper
execution of steps, how body language communicates to the delivery of the
steps, how the person is connected to the dance, and how one is able to interpret
and communicate the dance through non-verbal languages.
If one learns the art of dancing, the preservation of this culture will echo
through eternity. Even if a person is not into dancing, but because of how a
dancer executes and internalizes the piece, he/she will be involved in the dance.
A great connection will be materialized. Thus, it will breathe life to its dance form.

dancing.
