MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEMS (SLG & SRG)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Functional Description
The Management and Control System depends on where they are placed:
Local Management & Control (SLG) System
Remote Management & Control (SRG) System
Both systems are used to monitor the state of the different subsystems that
compose the Surveillance Site.
A user can supervise the subsystems working current state from either
SLG or SRG equipment, but only will be able to introduce changes from
one equipment in each moment.
The SLG equipment is located in the local station and connected to the

The SRG equipment is located in the remote stations, and connected to

the remote LAN.
The communication between SLG and SRG equipments is achieved by
means of the Radar Communication System. 10

SLG Level: Main Screen
The SLG application main screen displays two different areas on the
monitor:
The upper zone is composed of the "REPORTS" button, an
informative zone, the Time Zone and the INDRA logo.
The central area shows a graphic diagram where the different subsystems
are represented as boxes.
Each box will appear in a color showing the working state of its
corresponding subsystem.

MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEMS (SLG & SRG)
OPERATION
Configuring the Radar System
A user must firstly take the control of the Radar System from one
SLG or SRG equipment, entering a user name, and a password in the
application window associated to the subsystem which is needed to
control.
The user name and password must be configured for each user, and
its password should be unique.
There are five profile levels, ranging from 0 to 4, which determine the
user power to modify all, some or none of the parameters, according
to the accessed profile level.
Edition: 1 Revision: 0
The level 4 is the higher level and all the parameters can be modified.
Date: 01/03/2010
The others are intermediate levels and their modification parameters must be
set before.

OPERATION
Configuring the Radar System
The Radar System can be under control only by one machine (SLG1, SLG2 or
SRG) at the same time.
If a user takes control in one SLG, to take control from SRG machine the user
must pass the control from the SLG machine. Then, a user with a correct
profile can take control from SRG machine.
