What did you like and dislike about the actors in the

clips?

Casablanca- can be watched over and over again. Easy watching Dear John - the actors were very convincing
and brought you into their situation Beauty? - I didn’t like the subject they were talking about so not interested
in watching it

In Casablanca the actors could really act! There were subtle changes in emotion, especially demonstrated by
Ingrid Bergman. In Dear John the acting seemed quite bland. I suspect that this is due to the scenes rather than
the thespian's real ability. Numerous clips where the director probably told then to lark around and make out a
bit and the cut and pasted together probably weren't all that stimulating to thespian and viewer alike... In
American Beauty Kevin Spacey truly conveyed the look of a man on the edge and almost to the brink of
breakdown grasping at a rescue line whilst gained perfect retribution.

I liked that the blackmailing guy was brave enough to get what he wanted from his company that obviously
mistreated him

All of them are very pivotal in how the situation is received. If the lead is happy usually we share that and visa
versa.

Dislike Because it’s Kevin Spacey. Dislikes the representation of white supremacy, related to the era. Liked
beautiful costumes. Didn’t dislike, liked beautiful looks of actors.

I like the stoic demeanour of the Casablanca actors. I really like Kevin Spacey's laconic sarcasm (although
somewhat ironic that he's threatening to accuse someone of sexual harassment). I don't like Channing Tatum.

The actors in Dear John were a bit bland and unconvincing. The other examples are outstanding.
