Course Objective:
10.  To provide knowledge on impact of technology on society, professional ethics and practice
of engineers in context of various engineering issues including safety and environment.

Course Learning Outcomes:


On completion of this course, students shall be able to:
1. Discuss the impact of technology on society from the social, political, economic and
environmental perspectives.

2. Contrast issues of engineering safety and legal liabilities.
3. Evaluate the role of professional engineer in sustainable development.
4. Interpret the significance of Professional Code of Ethics.
5. Recognize the importance of Lifelong Learning for professional development of engineers.
