CONTENT STANDARD By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to enjoy and
appreciate rhymes, poems and songs.
4.1.2
LEARNING STANDARD Able to listen to, sing songs, recite jazz chants and poems with correct stress,
pronunciation, rhythm and intonation
By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to :
1. To complete the worksheet given to them with correct information.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
2. Recite the poem in groups in front of the class wearing the mask the coloured
earlier.

1. Pupils would recite the poem the learnt earlier using the correct intonation and
teacher will give guidance if necessary.
2. Pupils would be given a worksheet and they will fill in the blank with their own
information to produce a new poem according to their creativity.
3. Pupils will now present their new poem in front their class and other groups will
give their feedback on the new poem.
4. Pupils are separated in group of 8 and asked to come to front wearing the
mask they created earlier and perform the original poem.
5. Pupils will recite the poem in front of their friends in groups and the teacher
TEACHING & LEARNING would upload the video of their recitation on YouTube and the group to give
ACTIVITIES feedback on their own presentation.
6. Teacher concludes the lesson and congratulates everyone.
