1. WEATHER AND CLIMATE

 Group work. Look at the map and prepare a weather forecast in groups. You will
have 3 minutes to forecast the weather.

 Class discussion. Read, draw a mind map in group and discuss about looking after the
atmosphere.
The atmosphere is the layer of gases surrounding
the Earth. There are many gases in the atmosphere,
but nitrogen and oxygen are essential for living things
(biocoenosis).
There is air to breathe and water to drink.
Furthermore, weather phenomena occur in this layer.
However, we need to look after the atmosphere
because it protects us from harmful radiation from the
Sun

3. VEGETATION OF SPAIN

 Dictation.
Flora depends on the climate. There are four types of vegetation in Spain: Mediterranean
vegetation, Oceanic vegetation, Mountain vegetation and Subtropical vegetation.
