Burn is a injury in tissue because hot temperature, chemistry, electric and
radiation. Health education is a form of activity aimed at increasing the knowledge, understanding that can change the behaviour of indivduals in the health field. The study with video to describe effect of health education in students SMPN 1 Donomulyo. The study design Pre-eksperimental. Sampling with simple random, with one- group pretest-posttest design. A sample 40 students. The instrument is a questionnaire multiple choice. Data analysis by Wilcoxon. Students knowledge about first aid forburns before health education obtained median value of 52.40, whereas after health educatin obtained median value of 92.20. P value<0,001, where P<0,05 meaning that there is the effect of health education with video to knowledge about first aid for burns. The conclution of study is the use of video is effective to improve students knowledge of first aid for burns as a learning medium. So the videos can be used in the learning process for students to receive materials.
