place at both the College of Dentistry and the Medical Center. A wealth of clinical experience is gained at the affiliate
teaching hospitals, Lenox Hill Hospital and The Harbor Healthcare System - Veterans Administration Hospital.
Attending Conference is held every Monday morning where prior cases are presented and
reviewed. Once a month complications are presented by the Chair. The Chair and faculty in the
Pathology Department at the College of Dentistry lead Oral Pathology Conference twice each
month.

The Advanced Education Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is accredited by the Com-
mission on Dental Accreditation and have been granted the accreditation status of “approval
without reporting requirements [3].” The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recog-
nized by the United States Department of Education. The Commission on Dental Accreditation
