HCL Technologies Limited is an Indian multinational IT services company that operates in 32 Countries
and has 1.25 Lakh employees across the globe with a revenue of US $7.4 Billion. It offers services
including IT consulting, enterprise transformation, remote infrastructure management, engineering
and R&D, and business process outsourcing (BPO).

HCL started its largest delivery center in Lucknow in 2016 and it has been more than a year of
operations in the city with approx. 2000 employees working at Lucknow. HCL Lucknow is organizing a
Talent Competition under the name “The Grand Quest” from 12th Feb 2018 for the final year students
of Graduation and Post-Graduation (Tech & Non Tech). All colleges of Lucknow are eligible to
participate in the program. The highlights of the program are as outlined below: -

1. The student holding the First Position, shall be offered 100% Scholarship (full fee waiver for
the respective program) to HCL’s “Training and Hiring Program”. The Training and Hiring
program concludes with an assured job on successful completion of training. They will also be
awarded with Shield and Certificate. Also, they will be eligible to participate in ‘Tech Vistas’
various competition and win attractive awards.
2. Two students, holding Second and Third Rank, shall be offered scholarship worth 50% fee
waiver for the respective program and will be eligible for job with HCL as per the policy of its
“Training & Hiring Program”. They will also be awarded with Medal and Certificate. Also, they
will be eligible to participate in ‘Tech Vistas’ various competition and win attractive awards.
3. Students ranking between 4th to 100th positions shall be given Offer of Training and Job as per
“Training and Hiring” policy of HCL. They will also get Amazon Voucher for 1000/-. They will
also be eligible to participate in ‘Tech Vistas’ various competition and win attractive awards.
4. The College of the winning student (First Ranker) shall be given a shield and a Certificate.
5. All participating colleges shall be given a ‘Certificate of Participation’.
6. The top 100 ranker under each category (Tech & Non Tech) shall be invited for Grand Finale
(Tech Vistas) on 20th March for award ceremony. They will also be eligible to participate in
various competitions and win attractive awards (Please see annexure)

detail of the award is attached with this letter in Annexure 01 & 02.

The below annexure is applicable for all the Universities & Colleges who will be participating in ‘The
Grand Quest’:

1) Universities & colleges will have in-campus Posters & Banners about the event provided by
HCL.
2) Universities & colleges needs to assign one dedicated spoc for the event for smooth transition
& better coordination of the event
3) All students have to register on the HCL Grand Quest link
(http://www.hcltss.com/grandquest2018/) for participating in The Grand Quest.
4) Registered students will be getting communication through registered contact details (mail id
& contact no.) regarding the first round of test in their campus
5) List of selected students from first and second round of quiz will be shared with the college
spoc for further communication to the students for second and third round of test at HCL
campus
6) Event spoc need to ensure all the students reach HCL campus for the second & final round on
given date and time

7) Final selected students and participating universities/colleges will be awarded in The Tech
Vistas event.
 Tech Vistas

• ‘Tech Vistas’ will provide a platform to showcase the additional talent in the students in
different fields, such as coding, hackathon, debate etc.

• 200 selected students from ‘The Grand Quest’ (100 tech and 100 not-tech) will be eligible to
participate directly in the ‘Tech Vistas’.

• Selected students from both the events will be rewarded on the day of Tech Vistas.

• Additionally, we will have a DJ Party / Concert after the event followed by dinner.
