Avgas (Aviation Gasoline)

Fuel oil is a special type of fuel that is produced from petroleum fractions. Avgas fuel designed for

the type of aircraft engine combustion systems (internal combution), with a piston engine ignition

system. Performance is determined by the value of the fuel octane number between the values

below 100 and above 100. Value octane Avgas types circulating in Indonesia has a value of 100/130.

Avtur (Aviation Turbine)

Fuel oil is a special type of fuel that is produced from petroleum fractions. Aviation fuel designed for

aircraft with turbine engine type (external combution). performance or value of aviation fuel quality

fuel type is determined by the characteristics of the purity of the fuel, combustion turbine models

and structural durability at a low temperature.

Gasoline

Fuel Type Gasoline is a common name for several types of fuel that is destined for the combustion

engine with ignition. In Indonesia there are several types of gasoline fuel types that have different

combustion quality score. Value for Money type of gasoline is calculated based on the value of RON

(Otcane Randon Number). By RON gasoline is then divided into 3 types:

– Premium (RON 88) : Premium is a kind of distillate fuel oil is clear yellow. The yellow color is

due to the additional dye (dye). The use of premium is generally to fuel gasoline-powered motor

vehicles, such as cars, motorcycles, outboard motors and others. Fuel is often also called motor

gasoline or petrol.
– Pertamax (RON 92) : intended for vehicles that require the use of high-octane fuel and unleaded

(unleaded).Pertamax also recommended for vehicles produced over 1990 primarily been using

similar technology with electronic fuel injection and catalytic converters.

– Pertamax Plus (RON 95) : This type of fuel has met the performance standard of the

International World Wide Fuel Charter (WWFC). Intended for advanced technology vehicles that

require the use of high-octane fuel and environmentally friendly. Pertamax Plus is highly

recommended for vehicles that have a compression ratio of> 10.5 and also the use of technology

Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), Intelligent Variable Valve Timing (VVTi), (VTI), Turbochargers and

catalytic converters.

Kerosene

Kerosene is part of the crude oil having a boiling point between 150 ° C and 300 ° C and

colorless. Used for many years as a tool for lighting, cooking, water heating, etc.. Generally a

Diesel Oil (HSD)

High Speed Diesel (HSD) is a type of diesel fuel that has a cetane number 45 performance figures,

Diesel Oil (MDF)

Fuel Oil (MFO)

a higher viscosity than diesel oil. Fuel consumption of this type generally for direct combustion in

large industrial and used as fuel for steam power station and some use less economically with the

use of fuel oil. Fuel oil is not much different from the Marine Fuel Oil (MFO)

Biodiesel

Fuel type is an alternative for diesel fuels-petroleum based and made from renewable resources such

as oil or animal nebati. Chemically, it is a fuel consisting of a mixture of mono-alkyl esters of long

chain fatty acids. Types of products marketed today is a product of a mixture of 95 percent biodiesel

with petroleum diesel and containing 5 persenCPO that has been formed into Fatty Acid Methyl Ester

(FAME)

Pertamina Dex

Is a modern diesel engine fuel that has met and reached exhaust emission standards EURO 2, has a

number of high performance with cetane number 53 or older, have a high quality with a sulfur

content below 300 ppm, the type of fuel recommended for latest injection diesel engine technology

( Diesel Common Rail System), so the use of more fuel-efficient and economical, and produce more

power.
