 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS/INFORMATION

1. The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum. Where the number of applications
received in response to the advertisement is large, it may not be convenient or possible for
the institute to call for interview for all the applicants. The Director, NRCM, Jharnapani
reserves the right to fix the criteria for screening the applications. Incomplete applications
will not be entertained.
2. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen/ physically handicapped as
per rule. Age limit will be applicable as on closing date.
3. Persons already employed should route their application through proper channel. No upper
age limit will be applicable for serving regular ICAR employees.
4. Candidate applying for the posts will have to pay a non refundable application fee of
Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred) only in the form of crossed IPO/DD drawn in favour of
Director, NRCM, Jharnapani, Medziphema, Nagaland – 797 106.
5. All posts carry usual allowances, selected candidates will be under “Defined Contributory
Pension Scheme” as per central govt. rules mutatis-mutandis applicable in ICAR from
time to time.
6. Original certificates and marksheets should not be submitted along with the application but
should be brought if and when called for selection process. Attested copies of certificates
regarding age, educational qualifications, experiences and castes etc. should, however, be
submitted along with the applications.
7. Application received late and in incomplete form will not be considered. No
correspondence will be entertained with the candidates. Mere fulfillment of requirements as
laid down in the advertisement will not vest any right in the candidate for being called for
interview. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate for the post applied
for.
8. Application complete in all respect should reach the Director, NRC on Mithun, Jharnapani,
P.O. Medziphema – 797 106, Nagaland on or before 26th July 2010
9. Candidates applying for 2 or more posts will have to submit application form separately for
each post and have to superscribe the envelop as “Application for the post
of………………” address to the Director, NRCM, ICAR, Jharnapani, Medziphema,
Nagaland – 797 106.
10. KVK posts are co-terminus with the project and the other posts are temporary, but likely to
continue.
11. Selected persons for Sl.No.1 & 2 will be posted at NRCM, Jharnapani and Sl. No.3 & 4
will be posted at Porba for Phek KVK. For Sl. No.1 & 4, there will be a written test on
General English, General Knowledge and Financial Management and Accountancy. The
date of which will be communicated along with calling letter for the selection.
