Project Psychology- Professionalisation Skills Week

Introduction
Project Psychology reaches out to the MPHR students to not only enrich job skills but also focus on other
advanced skills such as Project Planning, Policy Planning and Employee Welfare; all aimed towards the
Human Resources Sector.
The program has 3 days of job skills training and the seminars on the remaining skills are held
simultaneously. The focus of the training is to provide in-depth better than basic knowledge to the post-
graduate candidates to help them in their future endeavours.
With their expertise in the application of psychological skills in organisations & industries, the candidates
acquiring skills for corporate makes them ready for the future challenges in this dynamic world.

Date & Time


The Program is a week-long starting on December 4, 2017 and ending on December 9, 2017; the sessions
being held from 9:00 to 16:00.

Objectives
● To acquire advanced communication skills
● To widen knowledge of HR recruitment processes
● To take professionalisation skills a few notches higher
● To ensure candidates are appropriately groomed and career ready

Ms Smitha Srikanth
Independent Training Consultant

Ms Smitha Srikanth has worked as a lecturer of English, teaching literature and


communication skills to PUC and BBM students for 4 years. She has also worked as
a basic English trainer for call-center aspirants. She has headed a training center,
'English Class' for 3 years, conducting classroom training and training in various
PU, Nursing and MBA colleges. Ms Smitha has also created content and delivered
training in English, communication skills and soft skills for the training programs.
She headed a training centre 'VETA' for 9 years. She has also played a role in training, HR, administration
and marketing during these 9 years.

Ms Rachna Singh
OD Consultant
Bangalore-based Humor Writer

Ms Rachna Singh has led the Talent Management function across four
organisations and consulted with over fifty organisations in areas related to
managing talent. She has more than 20 years of experience as a Learning and Organisation Development
professional in Tata Motors, Infosys, Idea Cellular and Dell. She was identified as ‘Business Key Talent’
(Top 5% in HR) and was awarded ‘Striker at Dell’ –the highest award for functional excellence thrice in a
row. She also won ‘Excellent Business Partner’ Award for 2 years in a row for providing winning L&OD

Ms Kavitha Rao
CEO and Principal Consultant, Learners Route

Ms. Kavitha Rao is an OD, Learning & Development Professional with over 16
years in the field of Talent Management both in India and the United States. She
has lead and managed Learning Solutions and consulting projects for various
organisations. Her granular approach to problems coupled with her ability to convert client-needs to
practical learning solutions has enabled her to gain roots in the training business. She worked with Sasken
Technologies Ltd, India, as a lead for the Learning &Development division and was associated with Titan
Industries, Erehwon India and Pusch Ridge Center at Tucson-Arizona. Ms Kavitha has a Master’s degree

Ms Arpita Dutta

Ms Arpita is a certified trainer with overall 15 years of experience with corporate


organisations and educational institutions as a HRBP &Soft Skills Trainer, and is
also a Critical Performance Skill Trainer. She completed her B.E. in
Instrumentation &Electronics from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore and
MBA in Systems Management from IISWBM, Kolkata. She completed her EPHRM from IIM Lucknow.

Image Consultant, Personal Branding Mentor & Soft Skills Trainer

Ms Milu Zacharia is an image consultant and a soft skills trainer. Ms Zacharia


started her career as a Risk Analyst in HSBC Bangalore and later moved to
Investigation Analyst & Operations Managers in Amazon. She is passionate about
training and has become a professional soft skills trainer along with her role in Amazon. She is the founder

Ms Neela Shashikumar is a Certified Independent Trainer and Image Consultant.

Ms Usha Raghunath

Ms Usha Raghunath is a certified coach from CoachU (affiliated to the

Prof Balu L
MBA, MPhil

Professor Balu has completed his MPhil from Sri Venkateshwara University and is
currently pursuing a PhD at Bharathiar University. Having an expertise and passion
for HR, Sir has published various articles in journals that include topics such as
Ethical Leadership, Employee Turnover and Career Development. He has also
presented and participated at numerous conferences, the topics being HR Practices for
New Age Firms, Managing Human Resources at Workplace, Strategic Planning and much more. Sir has
also been a great support and an inspiration to students around the university.

Isabel Paul
EAP Consultant, Coach and Trainer

Isabel Paul is an Internationally Certified Employee Assistance Professional (I-


CEAP), having 8+ years of experience supporting Fortune 500 client organisations
across India and the Asia Pacific through the design, implementation, and
management of their Employee Assistance Programs, including Wellness
Coaching, Retrenchment Counselling, Maternity Coaching, Crisis Management and Learning &
Development. Isabel completed her M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from the Bangalore University in 1996
