Procedure
1.Position vocabulary(German translation optional) for gapped text around the
classroom.****
2.Lead in: Teacher writes mosses on the board( expect jokes about Moses). Elicit
information from students about what they know.. 2-5 minutes
3.Students first read the text, then working in pairs try to put the missing
vocabulary in the right places in the text. 5-10 minutes
4. Teacher reads through text with students, checking understanding with CCQs.
10 minutes
5. Students answer questions(remind them to write in full sentences) 10-15
minutes (observe students to check they are following procedure)
6. Students compare answers with their neighbour.(possible peer correction) 5
minutes
7. Teacher goes through possible answers on board. (Teacher does not correct
individual students!!) 10minutes
