ACTIVITIES TEACHER’S NOTES / REMARKS
(i) PRE-LESSON: Probing
1. Students are shown a picture of a father with his son. Questions with HOTS are asked.
Example: What have you learnt previously that are related to this picture?
2. Students are asked to recite the poem with correct pronunciation and emotion.
(ii) LESSON DEVELOPMENT: Individual work
1 Students are asked to copy the poem down and translate the meaning of each line. Group work
2 Students are required to draw the pictures for nouns that they have just learnt. Teacher
provides guidance with the aid of LCD projectors which search for pictures that are easier
to be drawn.
(iii) POST-LESSON: Presentation
1 Each student presents their drawing.
2 Other groups give comments to the student.
