OUR DEPARTMENT
The School of Physiotherapy strives to provide excellence in physiotherapy teaching, research, and
clinical practice. Our focus is primarily on the assessment, treatment, and prevention of physical
dysfunction, and in the promotion of health for people of all ages.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Research Assistant (RA) for outcome measurement data collection on a study
entitled “Community Exercise and education for long-term management of diabetes and multi-
morbidity”.
OBJECTIVES
The primary purpose of this role is to collect and enter study assessment data at four assessment points.
Data will be collected from both study and the control group participants at each assessment point.
The first assessment point will be Feb - March 1st 2018 (Mon-Thurs mornings). The study is located
in Dunedin and Invercargill and testing will be held at Unipol (Dunedin) / Well South (Invercargill).
The RA will be trained in how to safely and accurately undertake all procedures to collect data.
