Oxygen-rich air enters the lung

Carbon dioxide rich air exits lungs and reaches the outside
The inhaled, oxygen-rich air reaches the pulmonary alveoli
The blood flowing through the capillaires discharges the carbon dioxide it has collected from the tissue cells
The blood absorbs oxygen obtained from breathing
Gases pass throug the membranes of the alveoli to the blood by the simple diffusion.
Oxyhaemoglobin takes the oxygen molecule and transports to the tissues
Cell takes the oxygen
After cellular repiration, the cell release carbon dioxide
Carbon dioxide molecule comes back the pulmonary alveoli
