The Sharp SJ-F78SP side by side refrigerator can provide a chilled beverage any time of
the day. This black fridge has a center partition-less design that offers a spacious interior
to store larger-sized utensils easily. Brightly lit compartments with its LED lighting make
retrieval of food easy. Adjust the temperature without opening the doors with its easy-to-
read LCD panel.

The Advanced Hybrid cooling feature of this Sharp fridge gets rid of excessive dryness,
uneven or over cooling. This frost free refrigerator also features honey comb deodorizer,
center pillar less 4 door design, spacious door pockets, easy-to-grip cylinder handles and
express freezing. Additional features in this fridge are child lock, door alarm, convenient

1. Plasma cluster ion technology:

Plasma discharge generates and emits the same positive and negative ions that occur in
nature. Plasma cluster technology is Sharp's original air disinfecting technology for
suppressing the effects of airborne viruses, and breaking down and removing airborne
mold.

Advantages of Plasma cluster Ion Technology
 Plasma cluster Ion technology is an original Sharp sanitizing technology that
Purifies the air by emitting positive and negative ions. Plasma cluster Ion
technology deactivates suspended airborne mould, viruses, dust mite allergens
and bacteria. It attacks a wide range of odors including pet, cooking, garbage and
cigarette smoke.

Positive and Negative Ions: Deactivates airborne allergens, bacteria, mould spores
and viruses.

Positive and Negative Ions: Reduces unpleasant odors at molecule level.

  The hybrid cooling loop as illustrated in Figure 1 consists of an evaporator, a
condenser, a liquid reservoir and a pump as the simplest design. Because of the
active pumping system, the hybrid loop system could manage multiple
evaporators in various configurations. The developed evaporator uses a planar
design which is the most desirable form factor for the planar heat source devices.
The proprietary evaporator design combines the passive capillary pumping with
the active liquid pumping while separating liquid and vapor phases for best
boiling condition. The node notation used for discussion is also shown in Figures
1. The active pumping feeds the liquid to evaporator, while the passive capillarity
draws the liquid to the vapor volume of the evaporator. The evaporator wick
design adopts the “inverted meniscus scheme” for better control of liquid and
vapor flow in the wick. That is, the liquid pressure (node 6) in the liquid volume
which isolates the vapor from the liquid is lower than the vapor pressure (node 2)
in the vapor volume where the boiling (or heat acquisition) occurs. The passive
capillary assures the film evaporation in the wick of the evaporator and the
pressure balance between the vapor and liquid zones. As the heat input increases,
the system temperature and pressure increase. In addition, the sub cooled liquid
temperature of the reservoir which is determined by the heat loss by the excess
liquid return and the condenser cooling, governs the system temperature resulting
in lower boiling thermal resistances. The vapor generated from the evaporator is
forced by the vapor pressure to the condenser and then to the reservoir. The
excess liquid returns to the liquid reservoir through a separated liquid loop. Even
though the overall system pressure drop is extended by the active pumping
beyond the capillary pumping limit, the maximum heat flux will still be limited by
the capillary capability of the wick structure of the evaporator.

Major advantages of the hybrid cooling loop are summarized as below:

· Advanced Hybrid Cooling Loop Design: The capillary-driven two-phase flow loop
can acquire and transport large heat loads at high heat fluxes while the pump-driven
liquid loop provides sub cooled liquid and removes excess liquid.

· High Heat Flux Capability: The sintered wick design can handle over 100W/cm² heat
fluxes.

· Large Cooling Surface Capability: The innovative evaporator design is easily scalable
for large planar surface areas over 100cm². The evaporator wick design provides
excellent passive liquid management and phase
separation for the best boiling condition.

· Compact and Reliable Design: The superior two-phase cooling performance and
advanced hybrid loop design can achieve miniaturized designs providing great flexibility
and reliability

3. Multi flow air system:

 Multi Flow accelerated air circulation technology provides a constant temperature

in all section of the refrigerator, except for the Zero Zone drawer where the
temperature is maintained around 0°C. Cool air is blown through the vents in the
refrigerator back wall, as well as directly into the Zero Zone drawer. Compared to
conventional systems, Multi Flow delivers the most efficient cooling of food,
keeping the freshness, aroma, and nutrients of fruit, vegetables, and meat much
longer. Multi Flow technology is featured in all models with the Zero Zone
drawer.

4. Honeycomb Deodorizer

 Sharp recently released its latest models of frost-free refrigerators with the
innovative and proprietary Honeycomb Deodorizer System. These deodorizers are
efficiently deployed in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments to ensure
the freshness of the food you store.
 During the recent launching of the new Sharp refrigerators, Sharp's sales staff
demonstrated how effective the honeycomb deodorizers by using curry powder.
Placed in a tiny container, the strength of the curry powder's odor instantly stench
to your sinuses. But with a piece of the honeycomb filter on top of the container,
you wouldn't smell a thing even if you put the canister right up to your nose.
 The actual benefit from the technology is that even if you are storing a variety of
foodstuffs in your ref, you are assured that the real freshness and taste is retained.
No more funny smelling water or onion-tasting fruits. In the freezer, the ice
wouldn't spoil your favorite drink with something fishy.
