Studi S1 Keperawatan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Hamzar. Bimbingan Ns.
Supriadi., M.Kep. sebagai pembimbing I, dan Ns. Ririnisahawaitun., M.Kep.
sebagai pembimbing II.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi bermain
terhadap tingkat sosialisasi anak Tuna Grahita Ringan. Tingkat Sosialisasi anak
Tuna Grahita Ringan Sebelum diberikan terapi bermain, dimana anak sulit dalam
menjalankan proses sosialisasi bersama teman dan guru di sekolah, setelah
diberikannya penerapan melalui terapi bermain, maka anak Tuna Grahita Ringan
dapat melakukan proses sosialisasi dilingkungan belajarnya disekolah. Lahir dan
hidup normal adalah keinginan setiap individu dan orang tua. Namun keinginan
itu hanya merupakan impian bagi para penyandang cacat sebab kebanyakan dari
mereka cenderung dikucilkan dari lingkungan, karena dianggap ganjil. Data
World Health Organization (WHO) pada tahun 2011 menunjukkan bahwa
penyandang cacat di dunia mencapai 7-10% atau berjumlah sekitar 82.840.600
jiwa. Menurut data dari Kementerian Sosial RI, pada tahun 2011, jumlah
penyandang cacat di Indonesia mencapai 6,7% atau sebesar 6,7 juta jiwa,
sedangkan data terbaru tahun 2012 jumlah peyandang cacat di Indonesia
mencapai 4,7% atau berjumlah 4.783.267 orang jiwa. Sebagiannya itu adalah
penyandang Tuna Grahita dengan jumlah 777.761 jiwa. Penelitian ini merupakan
penelitian desain pre-eksperimental yaitu one group pre test – post test design.
Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 responden. Sampel diambil secara
probability/random dengan tehnik sampel random sampling. Variabel independen
adalah terapi bermain. Variabel dependen tingkat sosialisasi anak tuna grahita
ringan. Instrument penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi checklist.
Berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan taraf kesalahan (α) =
0,05 diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 (p < α) yang berarti Ha diterima. Dengan demikian
dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan terapi bermain
terhadap tingkat sosialisasi anak tuna grahita ringan di SLB Negeri Selong.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of play therapy on the level
of socialization of children Tuna Grahita Mild. Level of socialization of children
with lightweight Tuna Grahita Before being given play therapy, where the child is
difficult in carrying out the socialization process with friends and teachers in
school, after giving the application through play therapy, the children can use the
Tuna Grahita Mild socialization process in the learning environment. Born and
normal life is the desire of every individual and parent. But that desire is only a
dream for people with disabilities because most of them tend to be ostracized from
the environment, because it is considered odd. World Health Organization (WHO)

(p <α) which means Ha accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a
significant influence on the application of play therapy to the level of socialization
of children with minor illness in SLB Negeri Selong.
