I am writing to you to express my interest in being considered for your 2018 season with specific
interest in The Barter Players, Singin’ in the Rain, and Elf: The Musical. I was drawn to your theatre
after researching your website and noticing your eclectic season as well as the strong emphasis on
educational outreach through The Barter Players. I have spent two years counseling and assistant di-
recting youth theatre programs as well as performing in traveling theatrical troupes for elementary
students. These experiences have shaped me as a performer and individual, and working with The
Barter Players will help me to continue to build upon my skills as not only a performer, but a teach-
ing artist.

I am currently in rehearsals for the Gulf Coast Symphony’s production of Oklahoma! in February,
and I am also preparing to begin rehearsals for The University of Central Florida’s production of
Bernstein’s Mass. I am currently a senior in the BFA Musical Theatre program at The University of
Central Florida, and intend to graduate in May.

I look forward to meeting you at the Unified Professional Theatre Auditions (UPTA) in February.
