RE: 2018/2019 Season Auditions: Resident Acting Intern Program:

I am writing to you to express my interest in being considered for your 2018/2019 Resident Acting
Intern Program. I was drawn to your theatre after researching your website and noticing your eclectic
season as well as the strong emphasis on educational outreach. I have spent two years counseling
and assistant directing youth theatre programs as well as performing in traveling theatrical troupes
for elementary students. These experiences have shaped me as a performer and individual, and work-
ing with Charleston Stage Theatre will help me to continue to build upon my skills as not only a per-
former, but a teaching artist.

I am currently in rehearsals for the Gulf Coast Symphony’s production of Oklahoma! in February,
and I am also preparing to begin rehearsals for The University of Central Florida’s production of
Bernstein’s Mass. I am currently a senior in the BFA Musical Theatre program at The University of
Central Florida, and intend to graduate in May.

I have enclosed a couple reviews from my most recent productions for your perusal. I look forward
to meeting you at the Unified Professional Theatre Auditions (UPTA) in February. I will be num-
ber 313 on Saturday, February 3rd.
