Judul: Pengembangan LKS Menggunakan Model Discovery Learning Pada Materi Teori Atom
Mekanika Kuantum

Permasalahan: Bagaimana tingkat validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan LKS berbasis model
discovery learning pada materi penurunan tekanan uap dan kenaikan titik didih larutan dari hasil
pengembangan yang dilakukan?

Tujuan Penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan dan
keefektivan Lembar Kerja Siswa dengan model discovery learning pada materi teori atom mekanika
kuantum.

Manfaat Penelitian: Penggunaan LKS dapat meng- optimalkan media pembelajaran yang terbatas,
membantu siswa lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran serta me- ningkatkan kemampuan siswa
dalam memecahkan masalah, LKS dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman guru dan siswa dalam me-
laksanakan proses belajar mengajar karena LKS memudahkan guru dalam mengelola proses
belajar-mengajar dan memudahkan guru memantau ke- berhasilan siswa untuk mencapai sasaran
belajar

Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang terdiri
dari: studi pendahuluan, desain LKS, uji ahli serta uji coba terbatas. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan
pada kelas X MIA5 SMA Negeri 1 Belitang untuk melihat kepraktisan dan keefektivan dari LKS yang
telah dibuat.

Hasil Penelitian: Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa LKS memiliki validitas yang sangat tinggi.
Respon guru terhadap aspek kesesuaian isi, keterbacaan, konstruksi, kemenarikan dan respon
siswa pada aspek keterbacaan dan kemenarikan menunjukkan bahwa LKS mempunyai kepraktisan
yang baik. Keterlaksanaan LKS mempunyai kategori sangat tinggi dan hasil belajar siswa
menunjukkan bahwa LKS efektif.

Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) LKS menggunakan model discovery
learning pada materi teori atom mekanika kuantum dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan. Hal ini
dapat dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli yang kategori sangat tinggi; (2) LKS hasil pengembangan
dinyatakan praktis. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari penilaian guru dan respon siswa yang berkategori
sangat tinggi, respon positif siswa setelah menggunakan LKS dalam pembelajaran serta keter-
laksanaan LKS yang berkategori ting- gi (LKS 1) dan berkategori sangat tinggi (LKS 2 dan LKS 3);
(3) LKS dinyatakan efektif. Hal ini dapat di- lihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang tuntas secara klasikal

Formulation of the problem: How to develop discovery based e – book and improve the motivation
and learning result of offline e- books that are easily accessible through windows or android
smartphone?

Research purposes: This study aims to develop Discovery-based e-book Learning and improve the
motivation and learning results of offline e-books that are easily accessible through windows or
android smartphone.

Research Benefit: E-Book is expected to help the lecturers’ creativities in using an appropriate
media, not using out-of-date learning method. The purpose is to make the students more active.
said that active learning process includes discovery learning. Discovery learning is a mental process
in which the students can assimilate a concept or principle. Mental process includes observing,
absorbing, understanding, categorizing, predicting, explaining, measuring, concluding, etc.
According to discovery learning is the one emphasizing on the mastery of certain skill through
repeated exercises and practices.

Research Method: The model is the development of a procedural model of Borg and Gall adaptation
and modification consisting of three stages; (Initial Product Development, Initial Field Test, Main
Product Revision, Testing and Revision of Main Product of Operations), and evaluation phase (Test
and Field Operational Testing Products). Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis.

Research Result: The research showed that the need for e-book based discovery learning was
effective and efficient in increasing the students’ motivation and learning outcomes at Economics
Education Study Program, Flores University.

CONCLUSION

Based on the research conducted at Flores University, the following problems were found: learning
was still lecturers-center, lecturers still used conventional model, module used by the lecturers was
expository (explaining module rather than solving problems and being outdated). Considering
those problems occurring in Economic Education Study Program at Flores University, one of the
solutions is the use of Discovery Learning based Basic Accounting e-book. The Discovery Learning
based Basic Accounting e-book had been revised several times by experts, practitioners, and
students. The purpose is to improve the students’ learning motivation and outcomes effectively and
efficiently in Economics Education Study Program at Flores University.
