ISSN Reflection

This project was created during Black History Month to show the strength of the black

community. The purpose of the project is to select an activist in the black community history

and research information on them. My thoughts on the project is how informative I want to be

as well as descriptive. My goal for my work before I began the project is to get it done in the

first place.

First I needed to find out who I was going to base my project off of. It was difficult since

most had already been taken so time was needed. Then the layout was also needed to have an

idea on what I was going to include. I didn’t create a draft because I already had an idea of what

was going be inputted.

I learned that there are many people who made a big difference in society but aren’t

recognized for it. I learned that my knowledge of the topic is only limited to a certain level. I

excelled at organizing my project and getting the information while needing improvement on

the presentation of the assignment. Next time I will find more pictures to add in order to better

grab the viewer’s attention. I was proud that I finished and was disappointed in nothing.

I investigated the world by looking back in time for people who made change in the

black community. I recognized and weighed perspectives by asking my classmates for opinions

on my project to add or delete information. Then I communicated ideas by sharing my project .
