 I currently work with optometrists and ophthalmologists that
specialize in many different things such as cataract surgery, dry eye
syndrome, glaucoma treatment, corneal care, uveitis treatment and
reading vision
 I mainly work with glaucoma specialists

 Perform Applanation Tonometry


 Measure visual acuity at distance and near utilizing test appropriate
for age and education, and records accurately
 Perform Visual Field tests, OCT, Fundus photos, Slit Lamp Photos,
Epic Refracting Systems, Non-Contact Tonometry & Pachymetry
 Use of Autorefractor and Lensmeters (automatic and manual)
 Obtain patient history to include chief complaint, history of present
illness, past history (ocular and general), family history (ocular and
general), and history of allergies and medications
 Estimate anterior chamber depth
 Evaluate pupillary reactions, including afferent pupillary defect
 Dilate pupils
 Perform tearlab as needed
